About the Authors
Dr Sarah Lantz is a writer, lecturer, researcher and mother. She has a background in public health, mental health, women's studies, and specializes in the area of child and youth health and wellbeing. She has written and spoken widely on the issue. Over the years Sarah has worked as researcher, a counsellor in a number of women's, child and youth health services, and as a lecturer at a number of University's. She is currently employed as a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland. She passionately believes in conscious, compassionate parenting and is committed to organic living and developing a sustainable, natural environment for future generations. Dr Lantz currently lives in Brisbane, Australia with her family.
Dr Edward Kachab is a chemist, foster carer and a Personal Development Coach. He has over 18 years experience in research and development in the pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries. He obtained his PhD from the University of Melbourne where he developed methodologies for monitoring toxic drug residues in farm animals bound for human consumption. He has been a member of the American Chemical Society and a conjoint senior lecturer at the University of Queensland. Dr Kachab is presently a Business and Technology Consultant for small to medium sized organizations, and lives in Brisbane.
