Workshops and Seminars

Focus on community engagement
The purpose of the national workshop and seminar series is to directly engage members of the community in the delivery of the Chemical Free Kids program and bring together and connect members of the community who share similar concerns. The intention is to provide an interactive medium for the community and further expand the reach and messages in the program.

National Seminar Speaking Tour
The national seminar speaking tour will be held throughout Australian capital cities and some regional centres across Australia, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart. The purpose of the tour is to provide an interactive opportunity for the community in discussing the issue of environmental chemicals and their impact on human health and to ask questions and have their concerns addressed by the authors in a public forum.

Chemical Free Kids Workshops
These workshops will also be held nationally and are an extension of the national seminar speaking tour. In these workshops that cater for smaller groups members of the community can obtain information not covered in the book or the seminars. Members of the community will also have the opportunity to develop specific and practical skills in dealing with the issue of environmental chemicals on a day to day basis. The workshops take the teachings of the book into practical and proactive sessions.
